Very cool white LED light improves reproductive performance and up-regulates expression of reproductive genes in layers

چکیده

This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of light color temperature on reproductive performance and expression pattern GnRH-1 FSH β genes in layers. At lay, 165 Fayoumi healthy pullets were separated into well ventilated, environmentally controlled rooms. Birds allocated three groups with 55 birds each (5 males 50 females) till 3 months after laying, representing base generation (F0). Fertile eggs collected incubated, newly hatched chicks also divided from first day life (F1). In two generations, group exposed cool white LED (day light) (6500 kelvin); second very (sky blue (10000 third warm (yellow (2700 kelvin). The profiles serum level evaluated generations. Blue light-exposed exhibited better performance, higher up-regulation increased levels than those either or yellow colors. A comparison between F0 F1 revealed an improved profile for birds. It therefore appears that could improve status laying chickens.

Hyperbaric environment up-regulates CD15s expression on leukocytes, down-regulates CD77 expression on renal cells and up-regulates CD34 expression on pulmonary and cardiac cells in rat

Objective(s): The aim of this study was to estimate effects of hyperbaric (HB) treatment by determination of CD15s and CD11b leukocyte proinflammatory markers expression.  In addition, this study describes changes in CD77 and CD34 expression on rat endothelial cells in renal, pulmonary and cardiac tissue following exposure to hyperbaric pressure. Materials and Methods:Expression of CD11b and CD...

Over expression of Nrf2 in Umbilical Cord-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells Up regulates Cytoprotective Genes, TXNRD1 and GCLC

Background: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are ideal cells for cell and gene therapy. However, the low survival of MSCs after transplantation has limited their applications. We aimed to evaluate the expression of cytoprotective genes including NQO1, TXNRD1, HO-1, GCLC following the over expression of Nrf2 in umbilical cord-derived MSCs (UC-MSCs). Methods: 3-5 passages of UC-MSCs were cultured. ...

Reproductive Performance and Condition of White-Tailed Deer in Ohio

Information on reproductive performance and body condition in white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) was obtained in 1981-83 for the glaciated farmland and unglaciated hill country regions of Ohio. Uterine analysis of 275 farmland does and 129 hill country does showed that farmland fawns had a higher reproductive rate (0.85 fetus/doe) than did hill country fawn does (0.62 fetus/doe). Fetuse...
